I noticed [in the docs on ModelingToolkit master branch](https://github.com/SciML/ModelingToolkit.jl/blob/master/docs/src/basics/Variable_metadata.md#mark-parameter-as-tunable) that there’s a mention of having a metadata tag that controls whether a parameter is considered adjustable by an optimizer.

Is this supported already, or still in the works?

The metadata is there, it just needs to be supported downstream.
