# PackageCompiler hangs while compiling nonincremental system image on Julia v1.11

1. Where did you report it, I don’t see an newer open issue or new comments on the existing ones. Comment on the existing ones, opening a new one will likely be closed as a duplicate and linked to the existing ones unless there’s a novel aspect.
2. It’s a third-party library, not a part of Julia, and I’ve never heard it called production-ready. If it were, I’d expect `[compat]` patches to stop people from running into problematic dependency updates like this.
