# OpenCV support

The OpenCV repo seems moribund: [GitHub - maxruby/OpenCV.jl: The OpenCV (C++) interface for Julia](https://github.com/maxruby/OpenCV.jl) . Is there any more recent activity in another repo or framework? Will I instead likely need to stick to python (or c++) to use those modules?

Depending on what you want to use OpenCV for, you might find [https://github.com/JuliaImages/Images.jl](https://github.com/JuliaImages/Images.jl) a good substitute, it’s quite comprehensive at this point.
