I like how Juno allows to configure the layout, such that the plot pane (and others) start always at the same place. In VS Code, when I make the first plot, the plot viewer is opened as a new tab in the editor group I’m working on. I can then move it to a different group if I want to see the code …

We don’t support config for that right now. Could you open an issue for this feature, I agree it would be useful to make this a config option.
