# New ROOT.jl release, v0.3.3

Hello,
I am glad to announce you the first ROOT.jl release that uses the Julia package manager to automatically install the ROOT binaries (aka \_jll package).
The release includes now by default the full set of ROOT classes which were in the `moreclasses` git branch and `xxx-moreclasses` tags. Almost all classes of the Histogram and Geometry libraries of ROOT are covered.
ROOT binaries installation support is currently limited to Linux. Contribution from developers familiar with macOS to help in extending the work to macOS is welcome.
Thanks to all the persons who helped in the development of `ROOT_jll`, that has permitted this automatic installation.
