# New package for clustering - need for an arXiv endorser

Hi I am Uwe, a MEMS engineer. During evaluation of some measurement data I had an idea for a clustering algorithm and started with Julia to be able to implement this algorithm as I had it in mind. That succeeded and the result is the algorithm “Iteridense”. I have written a Julia package for it and also a GUI program that I [announced here](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/an-example-for-cross-platform-standalone-gui-application/128822/1).
I also [wrote a paper](https://codeberg.org/Soloof/Iteridense/src/branch/main/Paper/Iteridense-clustering.pdf) about it and would like to publish it at arXiv.
I am asking as I left the university 15 years back and since then I did not make a publication. arXiv wrote me that i need an endorser but I don’t know anybody who has endorse rights. I also asked in the Julia Slack and also there nobody could help me.
Could anybody endorse my paper or connect me to someone who has endorsement rights?
Once the paper is at arXiv, I will also register it as Julia package that users can get it via Pkg.

If it is in the Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics categories I can try (i’m pretty sure in the maths category this will work, as I have lots of papers there).You will have to send me the endorsement code. I would _strongly_ encourage registering first, and only then publishing a paper (or even posting a preprint). I don’t really think that `Iteridense` will have any problems, but still: It’s better to make sure the registration can go through with a specific package name before putting out anything “permanent”.

I broke my Julia discourse login thus never saw your post until now. I will write you a private message and apologize. Meanwhile I tried many things to get an endorsement - direct contact to professors, asking in discourse groups etc. without success. Since people start to actually use my algorithm, I decided to self-publish it in a way to get at least a DOI number:
