There is a comparison of Julia running either natively in Windows vs in WSL2 (Ubuntu) from approximately four years ago ([link1](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/simple-benchmarks-to-run-to-test-wsl2-vs-windows-native/40343), [link2](https://olejorik.github.io/post/juliawsl/))

Has the situation changed? or is there still a significant performance gap in favor of WSL2?
Additionally, are there packages that are unavailable to the Windows version?
