# MetadataTools.jl in Julia 1.0

I’ve been using MetadataTools for a few projects. Can it still be used? If not, what is the alternative? Thanks!

Seems to be broken in Julia 1.0, which answers the question if it can still or not be used.

Which leaves us with “what is the alternative”?

Basically, I would like to be able to find the Github URL or a registered package (by package name). Thanks!
