Hi,

I am getting no output for this:

```julia-auto
using MATLAB
mat"cwt($x)"
```

Whereas for instance this works fine:

```julia-auto
mat"fft($x)"
```

Any clues?

Without much more detail (e.g. what the error message is) it is a bit hard to tell, but

`cwt` ([https://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/ref/cwt.html](https://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/ref/cwt.html)) is part of the [Wavelet Toolbox](https://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/index.html?s_tid=CRUX_lftnav), while fft ([https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/fft.html?s\_tid=srchtitle\_support\_results\_1\_fft](https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/fft.html?s_tid=srchtitle_support_results_1_fft)) is part of Matlab itself directly.

So one reason might be that the Matlab you have installed does not have the Wavelet Toolbox installed / included?

That’s not the reason, since mat"ver" shows the wavelet toolbox and mat"help cwt" gives me the help for that function. Also, I’m not getting an error here, just no output.

OK I found the solution: mat"[$w $f] = cwt($x)"
