# Length limit for topic headlines?

Some posts have extremely long headlines, for example [this one](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/can-julia-be-effectively-used-to-implement-a-recommendation-system-for-an-airbnb-clone-using-user-behavior-and-booking-history-and-which-julia-packages-are-best-suited-for-this/135044). Is there a way for the site maintainers to set a maximal length for the headline? Reading overly long headlines just takes time way when scanning topics.

Well, that post has other problems. Post titles are a shared resource, and regulars can edit them to help curate the forum.
