# Launching the REPL working group

Over [in `#repl` on Zulip](https://julialang.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/404905-repl), the loose clumping of people that comprise the “REPL working group” have been chatting about improving the REPL for a while.

We’re now going to be holding the first call this Saturday, at 2024-06-01T14:00:00Z.

The idea for this initial call is to take some of the ideas being thrown around over the past few months, and toss them around together (i.e. high-level brainstorming, getting on the same page, working out the rough plan for next steps).

The particular online venue for the call is TBD, but we will likely be re-using the triage zoom room.
