Hi everyone, I hope that _General Usage_ is the right category for this question. Please feel free to move it if not.

I wanted to install the new Julia 1.14 alpha but found that I couldn’t install it using `juliaup`. Specifically, I get

```julia-auto
C:\> juliaup self update
    Checking for new Julia versions
Error: Failed to update versions db.
Caused by:
    0: Failed to download current version db version.
    1: Failed on http_client.GetStringAsync.get
    2: Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (). (0x80190194)
```

The OS is Windows 11, in case this matters; Julia is installed from the Microsoft Store and was updated one or two days ago.

```julia-auto
> where juliaup
C:\Users\LocalUser\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\juliaup.exe
```

Is this a known issue? A possible problem on my side?

Thanks!

Can confirm:

```julia-auto
curl https://julialang-s3.julialang.org/juliaup/RELEASECHANNELDBVERSION
```

(the url the installer tries to query) results in:

```julia-auto
<Error><Code>NoSuchBucket</Code><Message>The specified bucket does not exist</Message><BucketName>julialang-s3.julialang.org</BucketName><RequestId>HWJQF6F4NXJT8BHS</RequestId><HostId>/QD26KTAHN6001TPzrSLl1TXtZpJiJFDdFP7iOVK042GKesexnLxNEz5ibTKDGjdFhMfOP/a3i9fRr7xTT76OmGV5LKRkvDL</HostId></Error>
```

I tried this on Ubuntu.

Should be fixed now. There was a race condition while deploying a new cache config.

I can also confirm that it’s working now. Thank you very much for the quick fix!
