# Juliaup: a modest suggestion

You’re getting some pushback here, but keep in mind there is a self-selection here where the majority use Linux and are familiar with the command line. There is [desire](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/a-graphical-julia-installer-for-windows/128413) for a GUI installation wizard on Windows, perhaps something that encompasses what juliaup can do, just in a GUI. I know I do, even though juliaup works okay right now. The takeaway I had was, it’s not an unreasonable ask, but just a matter of someone putting in the work.
