Hi everyone!
Here are a few good news about **[JuliaCon Local Paris 2025](https://juliacon.org/local/paris2025/)**:
1. Our **ticketing platform** is now up and running! We have tried to keep tickets affordable, and we’ll offer a few scholarships targeting the attendees who need it most. Register before the end of the early bird period 🐦

2. The **call for papers** is still open **until May 15th**! We have already received some high-quality submissions, but we would love to see many more. There are several talk formats to choose from (posters, lightning talks, full talks, tutorials), and we need your contributions to come up with an exciting schedule 🗓

3. We are excited to announce our first confirmed **plenary speaker** : [Laura Grigori](https://people.epfl.ch/laura.grigori), a full professor at EPFL who specializes in high-performance computing and numerical linear algebra. We’re working hard to get the very best of scientific computing, right on your European doorstep 💻
