The second keynote speaker of JuliaCon 2017 is Mykel Kochenderfer of Stanford University. Professor Kochenderfer is the director of the [Stanford Intelligent Systems Laboratory (SISL)](http://www.stanford.edu/group/sisl/cgi-bin/wordpress/), conducting research on advanced algorithms and analytical methods for the design of robust decision making systems.
