# JuliaCon 2024 Childcare and Travel Grant Announcements

Hey folks!

As the CfP deadline approaches we’d like to make two brief announcements from the DEI committee @ JuliaCon 2024.

The first is an update on travel grants and the application process:

The second update is that we are offering a limited number of childcare slots to JuliaCon attendees. If your attendance or CfP submission may be impacted by childcare needs please take a look below, and be sure to select the option to request childcare on your ticket!
