# Julia v1.9.1 has been released

Julia version 1.9.1, the first patch release in the 1.9 series of releases, is now available. Binaries are available at [https://julialang.org/downloads/](https://julialang.org/downloads/) for the following platforms, listed here by [support tier](https://julialang.org/downloads/#supported_platforms):
- Tier 1:
- Linux x86\_64 (glibc)
- Linux i686 (glibc)
- macOS AArch64 (M-series)
- macOS x86\_64 (Intel or Rosetta)
- Window x86\_64
- Tier 2:
- FreeBSD x86\_64
- Linux AArch64 (glibc)
- Linux x86\_64 (musl)
- Windows i686
- Tier 3:
- Linux PowerPC (glibc)
As a patch release, 1.9.1 contains no new features or breaking changes, only bug fixes, documentation improvements, and performance improvements. You can see the list of commits included since 1.9.0 [here](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/compare/v1.9.0...v1.9.1). We recommend that anyone currently using 1.9.0 upgrade to 1.9.1.
Note that 1.9 on [GitHub Actions](https://github.com/julia-actions/setup-julia), [Travis](https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/languages/julia/), [AppVeyor](https://github.com/JuliaCI/Appveyor.jl), and [Cirrus](https://github.com/ararslan/CirrusCI.jl) now refers to 1.9.1.
