# Julia v1.13.0-rc3 is now available

Julia version 1.13.0-rc3, the second release candidate for v1.13.0, is now available. Check out the [NEWS.md](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/v1.13.0-rc3/NEWS.md) file to see what will be new in 1.13. Binaries are available via [JuliaUp](https://julialang.org/install) and for manual download in the upcoming release section of [the manual downloads page](https://julialang.org/downloads/manual-downloads) for macOS (Intel and M-series processors), Windows (x86 and x86-64), glibc Linux (x86, x86-64, AArch64), and FreeBSD (x86-64).

As a release _candidate_, 1.13.0-rc3 should **not** be considered production-ready. Rather, it’s intended to give users, especially package developers, a chance to try out their code with 1.13.0 prior to a full release. See [here](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/compare/v1.13.0-rc2...v1.13.0-rc3) for a list of commits included since 1.13.0-rc2.

Note that `1.13` on [Travis](https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/languages/julia/), and [AppVeyor](https://github.com/JuliaCI/Appveyor.jl) now refers to 1.13.0-rc3. On [GitHub Actions](https://github.com/julia-actions/setup-julia), use `~1.13.0-0` or similar (see the `setup-julia` action’s README for options).
