Yeah I saw that too 
I was honestly surprised to find it on any of the lists. I think if anyone feels compelled to take one interesting thing away from those lists its that Julia is (I think) the only language mentioned there that doesn’t yet have a 1.0 release…
As far as rankings go, I trust the annual IEEE ranking the most, it is less of a popularity contest, and also weights languages separately for Web, Mobile, Desktop/Enterprise, Embedded, and you can create your own custom weightings.
If you select for Enterprise (you have to click on all the others to turn them off), then view based on different weighting criteria (you can make your own custom weighting), Julia is 23 for “Spectrum Readers”, and “Open Source”, 25 for “Trending”, unfortunately only 32 for “Jobs” (what I’m most interested in these days).
The same as on the other lists, it seems to be the only pre-1.0 language, on the list, which is pretty amazing.
