GitHub supports Julia syntax highlighting using “```julia”. But how to specify “julia console” syntax highlithing, i.e.when the code includes the Julia prompt ?

It is not supported AFAICT. In the list of supported languages there is only an entry for plain Julia: [linguist/languages.yml at master · github/linguist · GitHub](https://github.com/github/linguist/blob/master/lib/linguist/languages.yml)

There is a “Python Console” entry however so a “Julia REPL” mode could be contributed.
