# Julia-based USRA in Mathematics at the University of Western Ontario

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Western Ontario (London, Ontario, Canada) is advertising several Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) for the summer 2025. Candidates must be eligible according to [NSERC rules](https://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/students-etudiants/ug-pc/usra-brpc_eng.asp#a2). Deadline for applications is **February 6th, 2025**.

One potential research direction is to use Julia to solve computational  
problems in algebra-related fields like Algebraic Geometry or  
Homological Algebra. Prior experience with Julia would be an asset. If
