> @goerch I’d be curious what you get when you set dims on 1.6 and 1.9?

```julia
  2.567 s (66 allocations: 381.47 MiB)
Julia Version 1.6.5
```

```julia
  16.629 s (287999555 allocations: 7.53 GiB)
Julia Version 1.7.2
```

```julia
  2.414 s (65 allocations: 381.47 MiB)
Julia Version 1.8.0-beta1
```

```julia
  2.322 s (65 allocations: 381.47 MiB)
Julia Version 1.9.0-DEV.167
```

I’m not sure if it is worth the effort to file an issue, because 1.8.0 is soon to be released and LTS looks fine?
