The conda-forge osx-64 Julia builds stopped working around the beginning of 2026 with the last build being Julia 1.12.2 on December 12th, 2025. The conda-forge builds are (mostly) built from source.

I was able to resolve the build issues with the help of Claude via [PR 309](https://github.com/conda-forge/julia-feedstock/pull/309). [Julia 1.12.7 osx-64 builds](https://api.anaconda.org/download/conda-forge/julia/1.12.7/osx-64/julia-1.12.7-hcc9ce34_0.conda) as well as Julia 1.12.7 linux-64 builds are now available from conda-forge.

This complements the repackaged official binaries from the [julia-forge channel](https://prefix.dev/channels/julia-forge) which are available for linux-64, linux-aarch64, osx-arm64, and win-64 platforms, using the conda architecture names.

The main utility of these packages are for projects using multiple programming languages.
These packages can be installed via [pixi](https://pixi.prefix.dev/latest/), [mamba](https://github.com/mamba-org/mamba), or [conda](https://conda-forge.org/download/).
