# Iterate() not defined for RemoteChannel

`Channel` has an `iterate()` method defined for it, but `RemoteChannel` doesn’t. [Issue #31177](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/issues/31177) points out that `Channel`’s implementation copied over naively seems to work for `RemoteChannel`, too, but that issue haven’t received any activity in a while. I’m curious if there is a reasoning behind not having `iterate()` for `RC`, or if it is safe & reasonable to use this solution?
