# It seems that MadNLP does not support general NLP problem

Hi,  
Could it be the same symptom as [NLP: Attribute ScalarNonlinearFunction is not supported by the model](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/nlp-attribute-scalarnonlinearfunction-is-not-supported-by-the-model/110444), that is that MadNLP doesn’t support the new simplified syntax for nonlinear problem (that your are using) introduced in [JuMP 1.15](https://jump.dev/blog/1.15.0-release/) (Sept 2023).

Have you tried with `NLopbjective` instead?
