# Issues claiming account on Discord

I can login on Discord following the link, but cannot comment on the channels. I can only see the #welcome channel. When I try to claim my account it asks for a password, but I don’t remember my password for last year. There is no button to reset password via email.

Anyone experiencing similar issue?

Just tried as I learned about “humans of julia” by your question and after proofing to be a human it looks good.  
Do you see the bots on the top left ?  
The captcha.bot is what you need…

I’m not sure if there anything preventing you from creating a new account if you have the link, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, I hit something similar. I just changed my email to `mbauman+2022` because I didn’t feel like taking the time to figure it out. It’s a workaround.
