# Is there a way to remember my layout settings?

I like to drap the REPL to be on the right instead of at the bottom. Is there way to persist this setting? When I open Atom, the REPL is always at the bottom.

@jling Save work space doesn’t work for me.

But there are layout options!

**Setting** (ctrl+,)=\> **Package** =\>type julia and select **julia-client** =\> **setting** of julia-client=\>scroll down to click **UI options** =\>click **layout options**  
=\>change default layout by ticking and unticking + tick [open default panes on startup]
