In Daniel Sheas’ [regridding overview](https://climatedataguide.ucar.edu/climate-tools/regridding-overview), they advise that for `discontinuous variables (eg, 3 hourly precipitation)` it may be better to use [First- and Second-Order Conservative Remapping](https://doi.org/10.1175/1520-0493(1999)127%3C2204:FASOCR%3E2.0.CO;2). I need to interpolate some data and was wondering this be done using Interpolations.jl or one of the other [interpolation packages](http://juliamath.github.io/Interpolations.jl/latest/other_packages/)? While this can be done using CDO or ESMF\_regrid, I was wondering whether there is a Julia alternative.
