What are the main packages that need resurrecting? Or already work? I think te main infrastructure is already there for at least 2D games, also good for sound? I made a page at, please extend it:

I don’t expect Julia to ever compete with 3D game engines, but maybe it could plug into one. Likely proprietary are best now, Unreal or Unity (which is best? or most likely Julia could plug into), or open-source one Godot engine. I guess the engines help for 2D too, but are they then really needed? I’m thinking Julia could be good at least for that, and as a project for people to experiment with their (first) games.

If you want to vote or let us know of interesting games made in Julia see:

Since I got no response I made [Introducing Julia/Games - Wikibooks, open books for an open world](https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=Introducing_Julia/Games) adding MuZero.jl and the list of games I had written about below, please extend that page. I think Julia is as good as any language to make 2D games, at least not worse than Python. Though to get them to gaming audience is another story or alternative platforms like And…
