# Inverse of a symmetric matrix is not symmetric?

I made a separate post sharing my build woes with MKL on the mac ([Issues building Julia 0.7 with Intel MKL on macOS](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/issues-building-julia-0-7-with-intel-mkl-on-macos/10159)), to avoid hijacking the `Symmetric` issue… Although I’m not sure it’s an issue anymore?
