# Intervals.jl vs IntervalSets.jl?

[IntervalSets.jl](https://github.com/JuliaMath/IntervalSets.jl) and [Intervals.jl](https://github.com/invenia/Intervals.jl) seem to accomplish pretty similar things, and it’s hard to tell if one is more active than the other. Has anyone compared the two? If so, what were your conclusions?

IntervalSets.jl is what AxisArrays and SampledSignals converged on (previously there was an implementation contained within AxisArrays that I copy-pasted for SampledSignals.
There’s more discussion [here](https://github.com/JuliaArrays/AxisArrays.jl/issues/20) on some of the design requirements. I don’t remember the details enough to have a sense for what makes Intervals.jl different.
