Is it possible to install the upcoming 1.9.1 with juliaup, for testing?

(I guess “no”, since the there aren’t binaries available).

no

Longer answer:
Check it out from git and compile it yourself. Easy on Linux.

Shorter answer: you can manually download it from [julia-release-1.9 #248](https://buildkite.com/julialang/julia-release-1-dot-9/builds/248), go to the build job of your platform and you’ll find the tarball in the “Artifacts” tab.
