# In which julia release will JuliaLowering be used for lowering?

Just out of curiosity, for which julia release do we expect to see the femtolisp lowering be replaced by JuliaLowering?

The original plan was 1.14, but it’s not fully functional even on julia base yet, so it might slip to 1.15 depending on how long the 1.13 release process (which is close to done) still drags on.
