# If I have a an object of type \`Array{Float32, 2}\`, using \`eltype\` gives me \`Float3

If I have a an object of type `Array{Float32, 2}`, using `eltype` gives me `Float32`, what gives me `Array` ?

```julia
julia> x = Float32[1,2]
2-element Array{Float32,1}:
 1.0
 2.0

julia> typeof(x).name
Array

```
