# I noticed two packages \`IntervalSets\` and \`Intervals\` that do the same thing, and

I noticed two packages `IntervalSets` and `Intervals` that do the same thing, and both have a similar number of transitive dependents: [https://juliahub.com/ui/Packages/IntervalSets/2FHuv/0.5.2](https://juliahub.com/ui/Packages/IntervalSets/2FHuv/0.5.2) and [https://juliahub.com/ui/Packages/Intervals/ihXRn/1.5.0](https://juliahub.com/ui/Packages/Intervals/ihXRn/1.5.0) . `IntervalSets` is used directly much more often, though.  
Any suggestions which one to choose? And is anyone aware of why they are separate packages in the first place?
