# How to "pull from the main branch"

After doing " ]dev \*\*\*", how can I “pull from the main branch”?

\*\*\* is the package name.

Without doing so, some packages can not be imported.

`pull` in this context means to do a `git pull`. To do that, you need to `cd` into the folder where the `dev`ed package is (should be `~/.julia/dev/***`) and then do `git pull`.
