# How to perform region decomposition on unstructured grids？

How to achieve domain decomposition of finite element mesh in Julia by calling the METIS library? Or what recommended packages can achieve this function？

If you setup the element connectivity graph you can partition with `Metis.partition`, see [Metis.jl – Graph partitioning](https://github.com/JuliaSparse/Metis.jl?tab=readme-ov-file#graph-partitioning).
