# How to mark a question as solved?

Sometimes I see the checkbox below the answers, sometimes I don’t. Can you elaborate on how discourse decides on that?

I moved your question to `Usage` and marked the solution. I believe the `Development` category doesn’t allow solution checkmarks.

I cannot see solution chechmarks in this category (Site Feedback) either.

Thank you @lobingera, this means that the admins for this Julia forum have the control on what categories can have questions that are “answerable”. Perhaps someone with privilegies should go over all categories that still don’t have the plugin enabled and enable it?
