# How to define method for (:)?

if I don’t want to do like:

```julia
import Base: (:)
(:)(x, y) = xxxxxx

```

how could I define like:

```julia
Base.(:)(x, y) = ...
ERROR: syntax: invalid function name "Base.((:,))"

```

?

```julia
Base.:(:)(a, b) = ...

```

should do the trick
