# How do you prepare video for JuliaCon?

Hi All,

I want to prepare a video for JuliaCon and since this is the first time I am doing such video, I would like to hear suggestions / ideas / experiences of others. Few colleagues, who are in my opinion very good teachers, always use open broadcaster software. [https://obsproject.com/](https://obsproject.com/)

OBS is really neat !  
From my experience, the priority should be put on the **sound quality**.  
A **good mic** is a must. Also don’t forget to activate the OBS noise reduction filter. Especially if you run OBS on a close laptop because it will probably make your laptop fan running at full speed.  
Also note that if you plan to make live Julia demo on the same laptop, your timings will be strongly impacted.
