# How do I fix deprecated audio cues?

After installing version 1.7.3 I noticed that there was a Problem in the following line in settings.json:

```julia
"audioCues.enabled": "on",

```

The message is:

"Deprecated. Use the specific setting for each audio cue instead (`audioCues.*`).

I did some searching but did not find a way to fix this.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Unless I’m missing something, julia itself doesn’t use any configuration settings in json format, so it’s unclear what you’re talking about. If this is related, for example, to VS Code, you may want to specify that.

Ok, thanks for the confirmation, I moved the thread to off-topic since it doesn’t have anything to do with Julia and not even with the Julia extension for VS Code, as far as I can tell.
