# Horizontal y label with Plots.jl

Is there any way to make the y axis label horizontal in Plots.jl (with pyplot backend)?

`yrotation` affects the tick marks, not the label.

You can use `yguidefontrotation`. For example,

```julia
using Plots
pyplot()
plot(plot(1:10, ylab="y"), plot(1:10, ylab="y", yguidefontrotation=-90))

```
