Hi All - Here is a new job posting for a Senior Software Developer role at OPeNDAP. Please share widely amongst your networks and with your colleagues! While C++ is emphasized in the job description due to the NASA contract requirements, experience with Julia and other programming languages (Python, Java) would be pluses in the role.

**We are seeking a Senior Software Developer who is passionate about working on open source solutions for scientific data access.**

OPeNDAP is hiring a Software Developer to help develop systems that work within NASA’s Earthdata Cloud software ecosystem. The candidate will play a key role across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment, for our open-source OPeNDAP data server and related projects.

This is a full-time remote position. Due to NASA requirements, the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, and US-based. Salary range is $90,000-$120,000 with generous benefits. Interviews with candidates will begin on July 15, 2026.
