I am getting a file permission problem on just one file - it’s in my directory.
I am on a mac. Julia was working fine. But now it simply doesn’t exist because of the upgrade. The upgrade demands permission to write into this one local file. I have been trying to get this to work for 4 hours now. It won’t let me set permissions on the file to o+w. So that won’t work. So I tried u+w and it just doesn’t like anything. Could you help me make this change the and restrict the upgrade script so that it doesn’t do this? I had Julia running on the Mac. I still have an earlier version on Windows. But On mac - now I have no version because the upgrade won’t install. It gets the same error every time
this is caused by incorrect permissions on these files. The

following files could not be edited:

/Users/[userid]/.tcshrc

I tried setting permissions to o+w - nope. u+w - still nope.

About which script are you talking? Do you mean `juliaup`?

Which command did you execute that fails?
