Hi everyone, As part of my GSoC 2026 prep for `MethodOfLines.jl`, I just published a short devlog on bringing non-uniform grid support to high-order schemes like WENO.

My post, **“The Illusion of Uniformity,”** outlines the architectural and mathematical solutions I’m currently prototyping to make these advanced schemes work seamlessly on irregular domains.

**[Read the DevLog here: The Illusion of Uniformity](https://utkuyilmaz1903.github.io/)**
_(Note: These engines are actively being prototyped in [PR #538](https://github.com/SciML/MethodOfLines.jl/pull/538), [PR #539](https://github.com/SciML/MethodOfLines.jl/pull/539), and [PR #542](https://github.com/SciML/MethodOfLines.jl/pull/542))._

I am completely open to any feedback, suggestions, or ideas from the community. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers!
