Hey All,

Just a quick note to say that student applications are now open for GSoC. Please note the deadline of **April 3**. You should get your application in early (you can change it up until the deadline) and request feedback from potential mentors.

Also, we have added some [new machine learning projects](http://julialang.org/soc/projects/ml.html) that some of you may be interested in.

Hello,  
I tried contacting shashi regarding mentoring for Parallel Graph development but he won’t be able to mentor on this project. Could you please suggest me someone else who could mentor me on this project.

I am Om Prakash, a third Year Undergraduate student from IIT Bombay. I am pursuing Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science. I am interested in working on Native Julia solvers for ordinary differential equations and algebraic differential equations. Can you help me with this?
