# Gallium status

I see that Gallium hit some big roadblocks with LLVM in 2016. Will that project come back to life sometime soon or is LLVM development still the major roadblock? I wasn’t able to find a discussion giving an indication of what might help make that project move forward.

Yes, I’m working on it again. There were a few fundamentals that I’m not really happy with in the existing version (setting breakpoints only kinda sometimes worked right), so I’m doing some work on strengthening the base upon which that is built.

That is fantastic. If I can help, I will jump in. Debuggers are outside of my wheelhouse, but I have fully moved my work into Julia which makes me motivated. I enjoyed your JuliaCon 2016 talk.
