# Gadfly Geom.ribbon bounded left and right - Feature Request

Current implementation of [Geom.ribbon](http://gadflyjl.org/dev/lib/geometries/#Gadfly.Geom.ribbon) is to draw a ribbon at the positions in `x` bounded above and below by `ymax` and `ymin`. Is it possible to draw a ribbon at the positions in `y` bounded left and right by `xmax` and `xmin`? Thanks.

seemingly not, but definitely should. probably fairly straightforward enough to implement for someone new to the code. please open an issue on github so we don’t lose track of this request. thanks, and sorry for the slow response.
