**Question**
How can I force the usage of precompiled modules inside `DEPOT_PATH[1]/compiled/` without any check (for timestamps etc.)?

**Motivation**
This specific question came up in the much broader discussion “[Run a julia application at large scale (on thousands of nodes)](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/run-a-julia-application-at-large-scale-on-thousands-of-nodes/23873/3)”. An answer could be the major key to its solution.

**Closely related issue on GitHub**
[Allow `using` when `.ji` file exists without corresponding `.jl` file](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/issues/16330); This issue has unfortunately no update since December 2016.

Thanks
