There are several of us in my group who use it pretty extensively. We have a flight mechanics simulation, for example: [Genesis Flight Mechanics Simulation and Trajectory Design Tool v0.4.1(MSC-27061-1) | NASA Software Catalog](https://software.nasa.gov/software/MSC-27061-1). And we also do a lot of work with convex optimization in Julia.

There was a talk at JuliaCon this year from a different group: [Building Production Desktop GUIs in Julia at NASA with Dear ImGui and Mirage.jl :: JuliaCon 2026 :: pretalx](https://pretalx.com/juliacon-2026/talk/CXRHSP/)

Here’s another NASA engineer working in Julia: [[ANN] Epicycle.jl Initial Release - Space Mission Design and Trajectory Optimization](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/ann-epicycle-jl-initial-release-space-mission-design-and-trajectory-optimization/135024).
